Stins Coman Company and iRM participated at the VII Professional Energy Forum

The VII Professional Forum of “The Russian electric power engineering development” held at the Radisson SAS Slavyanskaya Hotel - September 22-23th - in the context of which Russian system integrator StinsComan together with it’s international partner IRM presented a solution in the field of optimization, forecast and energy trading provided for participants of the wholesale market of the electric power engineering and capacity.         

Stins Coman and its partner IRM, sponsored a section devoted to the electric power engineering market. For this purpose a guest speech for “Structural development of key business processes of energy companies under the changed market conditions” was provided by Dr. Irina Reitgruber, Head of iRM’ Product Management. Given key notes of the speaker raised high interest among conference participants since Mrs. Reitgruber presented a review on European and American markets with respect to electric power engineering and an analysis/outlook for the Russian electric power engineering and capacity market in comparison with experiences from abroad.

During the conference representatives of both companies - Stins Coman and IRM discussed with high level prospects and key deciders in this industry about their specific core requirements and needs, system abilities and advantages for leading energy companies via iOPT solution and experiences from projects locally and from abroad. Therefore specific materials devoted to the iOPT (a solution designed for optimization, forecasting and energy trading) as well as general information materials about both companies were provided at a representative booth. Dr. Markus SEISER, IRM Managing Director for Central and Eastern Europe , which also participated atfirst day of the event for several business meetings with key representatives of the OREM market. “It’s necessary to demonstrate respect to the high level of event organization and actively participate, - The quality of the  program interesting speeches, the large quantity of the TOP representatives of Russian companies –shows once more the large development potential of the electric power engineering market in Russia and is a professional medium for us to get in touch with our clients and prospects”.  

At present iOPT system is being implemented at “INTER RAO ES”, a market leader  which entered into a contract recently with Stins Coman. “We are sure this is the future, - said Igor Sedov, the Head of the Stins Coman Technical Department TEK , - Currently we are negotiating with other leading players in the Russian electric power market which show high level interest into iOPT solution first of all due to its wide functionality, adaptability to changed market conditions as well as local Russian market (Russian GUI) and secondly  because of  demonstrated multiple successful implementations in different territories and broad business expertise on  the European energy market where such tools were used for a longer period of time.
